Waiting
While studying on the MSc Animation and Visualisation course I became interested in the role of observation in animation and the relationship between creating performance using character, objective, emotions and physical actions.
The result of this research is 'Waiting'. A short experiment with character animation where the main character is waiting at a bus stop. The intent is to make this small window of time as interesting as possible through the use of subtle gesture, subtext and secondary animation to create a compelling performance.
